Remember Me – Untapped Potential

203300_frontRemember Me is an action-adventure sci-fi game from the incredible minds that brought us the universally adored Life is Strange. Yet their sophomore effort has totally eclipsed Dontnod’s ironically forgotten first foray into the world of gaming. So, as a look into Dontnod’s very brief history, I’ve decided to play through Remember Me to see whether this game actually deserves it’s titular request.

5 Sentence Review – The Hateful Eight

MV5BMjA1MTc1NTg5NV5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTgwOTM2MDEzNzE@._V1_SX214_AL_The Hateful Eight is Quentin Tarantino’s imaginatively titled eighth installment in a filmography that just never fail to dish out high quality entertainment as well as lashings of blood and guts. The cast do a phenomenal job, with them all vying for prime position as the one we remember leaving theatre, however it is to the ever present Samuel L. Jackson and (at least to me) new name Jennifer Jason Leigh that keep me thinking back to that sweet (or not so sweet) stay at Minnie’s Haberdashery.

John Wick – Reeves Rampage

john-wick-poster1Considering the last thing I saw Keanu Reeves in was the awful, dull, depressing, dull, unimaginative, dull, unnecessary, and desperately dull remake of The Day the Earth Stood Still, I thought the days of the eternal Reeves were over and that we could only reminisce of when things were excellent and he would always choose wisely, both with pills and films.
