And Now For Another Kickstarter Promotion

6e553a314f5d7cc674f486c0e64e1c1e_original.pngIt appears my WordPress career has taken a bit of turn of late from “serious” reviewer to game flogger. Well its that time again because, after getting a tip from the awesome YouTube channel Indieformer I have been led to another game that I will tell you about, leaving it up to you whether you back the game or not because, you know, money doesn’t
grow on trees, no matter how many pennies we plant in the ground. Continue reading “And Now For Another Kickstarter Promotion”

Another Bout of Unsolicited Kickstarter Shout-outs

Hello again everyone and, although I said last time I wouldn’t be using this blog as a Kickstarter plugging page, I’ve seen a couple of games that I feel deserve a little promotion from yours truly and can hopefully assist in whatever small way in helping them reaching their funding goals.

Game One: In the Shadows

in-the-shadows-game-teaser.mp4First up we have In the Shadows, a puzzle platformer made by Colorspace Studio where we control a man undergoing some sort of psychotherapy where he must travel back to his childhood, using light to transform the dark shadows through a variety of puzzles so that he can recover his past memories and make sense of his life.

Apologises Once Again

Hello everyone and again it is one of those updates I put out every now and again so that people don’t think I have died or something. I am in fact om holiday at the moment and will be returning to blogging soon. I’ve got a couple of review ideas rattling around so I hope you will enjoy what I (hopefully) get round to doing. So hang in there my fatigued and miffed audience, there is stuff to come!

Give This Game Some Love (and Money, also Money)

photo-originalHello everyone! So I know that people advertising blatantly to you is at best a mild irritant and at worst the final aneurysm that will do you away but please hear me out!

harper-lee_3374329bUnfortunately at some point today Harper Lee, the author of the incredible novel To Kill a Mockingbird and its first draft “sequel” Go Set a Watchmen, died. It is strange to feel so saddened over the death of someone that most of us have never met and now will never meet, but today I feel quite sad at knowing that such talented person that I will never meet, never see in the flesh, never hear her inhale and exhale, is now gone.

The Chronic Chronicler – 2015 in Review

Well 2015 is finally over and, in terms of this blog, it’s thankfully over. It hasn’t been much of an improvement over 2014 but I hope to get back into the swing of things next year! Thank you to everyone who’s read, commented and possibly even shared by ramblings, it means quite a lot.

I hope to do some  different stuff next year so I can keep up so I can be a bit more regular and maybe even get over the ten thousand views mark (so close this year though). So Happy New Year and I hope you all have a wonderful 2016!

Here’s an excerpt:

The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 9,800 times in 2015. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 4 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
